Back when he was still going by the porn moniker Vin Vericose, Chad Alva moved from his native Minnesota out to L.A. for a career in porn. He has shown an ability to deliver a funny line of dialogue as well as an impressive fuck in such diverse movies as Razordolls and This Isn't Fast Times at Ridgemont High (in the "Jeff Spermcoli" role that he was clearly born to play). Chad is also a musician and was touring full-time with his band Dead to Fall when he started filming alt-porn scenes. These days, Chad is working for some of the biggest adult studios, including New Sensations, Vivid, and Smash Pictures.
"I'm Chad Alva - the porn actor formerly known as Vin Vericose," he says. "I had to change it because, well, quite frankly - I don't think the majority of the people in this industry appreciated the humor behind it and therefore it didn't do me too many favors trying to do business." Chad's comic sensibilities are one of the main reasons he shines in parodies, but his strong sexual style is what makes him a go-to stud who has appeared in such major releases as Bobbi Starr's Bobbi Loves Boys (Bobbi Starr/Evil Angel) and Graham Travis' AVN Award-winning Portrait of a Call Girl (Elegant Angel Productions).

From his fantastic day job to the gorgeous woman he gets to go home to at night, adult performer Chad Alva (formerly known as Vin Vericose) is living the dream of many straight guys. As his xPeeps profile so succinctly puts it, "On occasion, I penetrate women's mouths and vaginas with my penis, on camera. It's a lot of fun, really." We just bet it is, Chad. Here's the story of how Vin's XXX career came to be and how xPeeps helped him find love.
"In 2005 I first saw Eon McKai's Kill Girl Kill trailer and immediately recognized it as something I wanted to be a part of," Chad told xPeeps. "In 2006 I started doing porn for Razordolls."
We interrupt here to add that Chad was the subject of a newspaper feature in his native state of Minnesota. The article describes him as a former teen outcast who discovered porn early and was notorious for his pranks in school. Now he's notorious for a whole different reason. Chad had long wanted to get into porn, and eventually got into the industry after his band Dead To Fall met a young starlet who was affiliated with Razordolls. As soon as she found out Chad was into porn, she got him a scene with her. He did the scene, taking his last name from his long-standing nickname for his dick. Razordolls liked what they saw and asked him back. Meanwhile, Chad had also discovered xPeeps.
"In 2007, on xPeeps, I came across a hot new starlet who had just finished shooting her first movie, which happened to be for Vivid Alt. We were around the same age and into the same type of shit (hardcore & metal shows, etc.), so we started chatting it up, and becoming online friends. She even added me – it was a dream cum true, on xPeeps.
"At the end of the year, I happened to be at a studio in Baltimore recording an album with my band, and I asked her to come hang out. Thanks to us meeting and keeping in touch on xPeeps, we were able to meet and INSTANTLY FALL IN LOVE. From the night we met, we have hardly gone a night without each other. And now we're out in L.A. together – to bone and to make the dirty money.
"It's all real and it could happen to you. You think you know but you have no idea. This is the diary of Vin Vericose," Chad concluded (he was still going by the name Vin Vericose until sometime in 2010).
Too bad we haven't had the chance to see an MTV "Diary" episode about the life of Chad Alva, because in closing his tale that way, he actually made an excellent point. Meeting the extremely gorgeous rising porn star Andy San Dimas on xPeeps didn't just bring them together as one of porn's sexiest real-life couples, but you could say it also led them to star together in the hot, AVN-nominated alt-porn classic On My Dirty Knees, directed by alt-auteur Eon McKai. It's a connection we should all be happy about, when you look at it that way.
